New York Knicks forward Marcus Morris is once again apologizing for his sexist comments.
Morris said Memphis Grizzlies swingman Jae Crowder has a lot of female tendencies. Knicks point guard Elfrid Payton and Grizzlies big man Jaren Jackson Jr. have each been suspended one game without pay and Morris and Crowder have each been fined after a fight took place at Madison Square Garden during the Knicks-Grizzlies game.
The incident, which began when Payton shoved Crowder to the floor, occurred with 48.1 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of the Grizzlies’ 127-106 win over the Knicks on Jan. 29. Morris then made his sexist comments during his media session, but he was clearly still steaming from the scuffle:

Morris, who received a technical foul and was ejected from the game, has been fined $35,000 for escalating an on-court altercation by shoving Grizzlies rookie Ja Morant and for his offensive and derogatory comments made to the media.
Morris signed a one-year, $15 million deal with the Knicks this past offseason. He originally agreed to sign with the San Antonio Spurs, but backed out of his deal. Morris also parted ways with his agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.
In 41 games this season for the Knicks, Morris is averaging 19.2 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists. He’s shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 43.9 percent from beyond the arc and 81.5 percent from the free-throw line.
Morris' name has come up in trade rumors with the trade deadline looming. The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the contenders which has interest in Morris.
