Kristaps Porzingis didn't miss a beat this summer, working hard to improve his game after an impressive rookie campaign.
Some guys rest in the offseason, but Porzingis has been an absolute gym rat. In July, Kristaps talked about adding some post moves to his offensive arsenal. Now, he's focused on refining his handles.
As the game evolves, players who have length, the ability to shoot the outside shoot, and strong dribbling skills are the ideal mold. Porzingis already has the length and the deep jumper down, so the prospect of him adding better handles to his game has to be scary for the rest of the league.
We'll see how much his hard work pays out when the season arrives, but Porzingis wasn't afraid to post about his work regime on his Twitter account:

His season highlight reel does include a few plays where Porzingis does put the ball on the ground, looking more comfortable than most big man on the bounce. Take this up-and-under layup by DeAndre Jordan, for instance:

Porzingis has a much higher ceiling than most young players in this league, and he's not afraid to explore it. Knicks fans are fortunate to call Kristaps their own for, very likely, a long, long time.
