The Denver Nuggets will sit out shooting guard Gary Harris, forwards Wilson Chandler and Paul Millsap, as well as centerpiece Nikola Jokic during tonight's third preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Harrison Wind of BSN Denver.
Harris, who led all scorers with 25 points in Monday's first encounter with the Lakers, is suffering from a right shoulder strain, while Wilson Chandler is nursing right hip soreness. Jokic has a right elbow strain, while Millsap; an 11-year veteran, is being rested for this game.
The Nuggets (2-0 preseason) had no problem scoring during Monday's game against L.A. — putting up 113 points on the scoreboard along with two 30-point quarters. Denver shot a blistering 55.6 percent from deep, including 15 made treys, which proved enough to keep the Lakers at bay early.

The point guard competition is expected to continue, with Jamal Murray getting the nod this time after a disappointing performance by Emmanuel Mudiay, who totaled six points, four rebounds, four assists, and a whopping four turnovers in 23 minutes against the Lakers.
Murray didn't shoot too well in either of his two games, but has not turned the ball over as much as Mudiay (eight turnovers in two games) — which can prove ultimately a huge reason why head coach Mike Malone would want to hand him the keys to the starting position.
