Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Chris Paul may no longer be inside the bubble, but he continues to anchor change around the league.

During his appearance as a virtual fan in Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat, Paul revealed that “over 90 percent” of the league is registered to vote and 15 NBA teams are now 100 percent registered.

Aside from still being one of the top playmakers in the game today, the 35-year-old Paul also serves as the President of the National Basketball Players Association. With social injustice continuing to be felt around the world — particularly in the United States — CP3 has been one of the most vocal leaders in making a difference.

Behind the leadership of Paul, the NBPA has preached the importance of making everyone's voice be heard by casting their votes in the upcoming 2020 Presidential elections in November.

The first step, of course, is urging his fellow NBA brethren to take the time to register. Chris Paul also understands how big of an impact the youth will play in this initiative. He took it upon himself to go back to college and enrolled at Winston Salem State University. The 10-time All-Star bared his desire to assist students in the polls.

The NBA, meanwhile, has thrown their all-out support for the Black Lives Matter movement throughout the resumption of the season. Urging its players to vote wisely is certainly the next step to support the cause. There's arguably no better spokesperson than Paul, considering he is a well-respected figure around the league.
