For some NBA teams, trade deadline season is an anxious time. The pressure of making the right decision can be daunting, but the Oklahoma City Thunder seem to be at ease with the options at their disposal.

According to a report from Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Thunder are “sending a mixed message of sorts” about their current plans when it comes to the trade market. OKC could be swayed to make a deal ahead of this season's deadline if there's something truly significant on the table, but Sam Presti would also be content with standing pat given his club has been one of the biggest surprises in the league.

Players like Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams and Dennis Schroder are possible trade candidates, and they're already drawing interest from around the league thanks to how well they're playing. Oklahoma City would be looking for a solid return in such deals given how important they've been to the club's success. Chris Paul has also been rumored in trades since he got to OKC, but most believe he's not movable because of his big contract.

The Thunder are off to a nice start to this season, as their 22-16 overall record can attest. They even just smashed the Houston Rockets in Russell Westbrook's return to OKC. It might behoove Presti to keep his roster together to see if they can make a run, especially since there are already so many assets in his war chest anyway.

If they are presented with a suitable offer, though, it sounds like the Thunder would be willing to deal.
