Steven Adams continues to prove that the Oklahoma City Thunder is more than just about Paul George and Russell Westbrook, as he once again made his presence felt in the team's 99-95 win against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Adams finished with 13 points and a massive 22 rebounds. In the process, he accomplished a feat that was last achieved by Shawn Kemp in franchise history.

Without a solid big, the Grizzlies found it hard to control the boards. Steven Adams was able to dominate the frontcourt of Jonas Valanciunas, Justin Holiday and Joakim Noah who had combined to grab only 24 rebounds.

Adams knew that he had to step up for OKC — shorthanded with the absence of Paul George who has been dealing with an injury — and he did not disappoint. He continues to be an integral part of the Thunder's championship quest this year.

OKC remains in the third seed in the Western Conference with a 39-24 record. They have 19 games left to try to catch the Denver Nuggets, who are three games ahead of them for the second spot in the standings.

Still, the Thunder are expected to make a deep run in the playoffs, and with the emergence of Adams this season, the team has an underrated version of what people call a superteam or a Big Three.
