After their victory over the Dallas Mavericks, Russell Westbrook gave his game-worn shoes to a young Oklahoma City Thunder fan.

It was pretty obvious that Westbrook was happier than usual after their New Year's Eve win. During the post-game interview, he praised his teammates for their efforts and even greeted everyone back home a happy new year.

After the interview, he went to the locker room but not before handing his pink game-worn shoes to a lucky fan.

Russell Westbrook had all the reasons to be happy. Not only did they win by a convincing margin (122-102), but he also notched another triple-double with 32 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists. Paul George chipped in 22 points of his own, along with four rebounds and four steals. Jeremy Grant had 16 while big man Steven Adams had a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds.

The former league MVP has been giving out his sneakers to fans this season. He's not just giving them away at home. But wherever he goes, whenever he spots a Thunder fan, he gladly removes his game-worn shoes and gives them away. Below is Westbrook in Brooklyn:

So what has gotten into Russell Westbrook lately? Whatever it is, it sure is making Thunder fans happy. So whenever Westbrook visits your town, it's a good idea to don his jersey and get good seats. You just might come home with some game-worn shoes by a basketball elite.
