Rajon Rondo put up a career-best performance against the Brooklyn Nets dropping a career and New Orleans Pelicans record with 25 assists in just 30 minutes played.
According to Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype, it also put him in exclusive company in league history for reaching that individual feat in a single game.

It was quite an impressive outing for Rondo as he continually found teammates in scoring opportunities throughout the contest. He did receive some help from some difficult shots being made on a few those plays, but nonetheless, it put on full display that he is still an elite passer.

His assists also created 58 points, which are most by any player in a game over the last two decades. Meanwhile, his two points scored are the fewest for any of the seven players that have tallied 25 assists in a game.

Over his NBA career, Rondo has earned the reputation as being one of the league's best passing point guards. In his first year with the Pelicans, the 31-year-old has progressively fit in the fold with the team taking up a more significant role over the last couple of weeks.
In 12 games in December, he is averaging 8.3 points and 9.8 assists per contests while tallying six double-digit assist outputs, five double-doubles, and a triple-double. This latest performance could further cement his role with the team as the primary ball distributor in the Pelicans' push to the playoffs.
