Should Rajon Rondo miss any time for the Pelicans in the regular season, Jrue Holiday might be forced to shift back full time as the team’s starting point guard with Ian Clark and Frank Jackson also getting increased work volumes.

Rondo was signed over the summer by New Orleans to a one-year, $3.3 million contract. The Pelicans are relying on Rondo to be the stabilizing factor in a talent-laden starting lineup that features the twin tower combo of DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis.
