Philadelphia 76ers star Jimmy Butler is starting to see his act run thin around the league.

First, he caused problems in the Chicago Bulls' locker room, but many chalked it up to Tom Thibodeau and Fred Hoiberg. Then, he raised heck while with the Minnesota Timberwolves, scapegoating the apparent lack of desire between Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins as his reason for wanting out. Now, he is reportedly clashing with Sixers head coach Brett Brown over the offense.

So, basically, Butler is creating issues wherever he goes, and in that case, it might be time for him to look in the mirror. On Wednesday night, Atlanta Hawks broadcaster Bob Rathburn could not resist taking a shot at Butler, calling him “General Soreness” when mentioning how the Hawks were due to play the 76ers this week:

Rathburn is likely referring to Butler sitting out some Timberwolves games earlier in the year due to “body soreness.” On the season, Butler is averaging 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and two steals over 32.9 minutes per game. He's shooting 47.4 percent from the floor, 38.9 percent from three-point range and 83.1 percent from the free-throw line.

Butler also raised some eyebrows recently when he said he would retire from the NBA by age 35, which is probably not something teams want to hear as he enters free agency this summer. The 29-year-old spent the first six years of his career with the Bulls before being traded to the Timberwolves during the summer of 2017. He spent just one year in Minnesota before asking for a trade, and the Wolves obliged by dealing him to Philadelphia in early November.
