The Philadelphia 76ers are in the market for a point guard. Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors has been heavily linked to a move to the Sixers, but as it turns out, he's not the only guard on Philly's radar.
According to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Sixers have a few other point guards in mind, including Lonzo Ball of the New Orleans Pelicans:
Beyond Lowry, Sixers have shown interest in other guards available in the marketplace — including Powell, Lonzo Ball and George Hill, sources said.

While Norman Powell and George Hill are also noteworthy targets for the Sixers, there's no denying that Ball is the name that stands out here. The 23-year-old could be on his way out of New Orleans with Ball's current deal expiring in the summer.

The Sixers are not the only team keeping their eye on Ball's situation with New Orleans, with several other teams looking to acquire the second overall pick of the 2017 NBA Draft. Lonzo Ball’s stats this season have been somewhat similar to his production over the past couple of years, but for what it's worth, he's currently scoring a career-high 14.2 points per game.
It has yet to be determined how the Sixers intend to operate with a new point guard in the mix. Ben Simmons remains to be their point guard of the future, but coach Doc Rivers could possibly employ a double PG lineup. A guy like Ball could also come off the bench behind Simmons, serving as the primary playmaker in Philly's second unit.
Whatever the case may be, it's clear that the Sixers are doing everything they can to add a new point guard prior to the trade deadline.
