Philadelphia 76ers superstar Ben Simmons is having a hard time finding his rhythm in offense in the Sixers' 2019 NBA Eastern Conference Semis series against the Toronto Raptors.
Simmons was expected to play a major role for the Sixers, but he is not hitting expectations at this point of the series. And according to Rosalyn Gold-Onwude of NBA TV, the superstar point guard told him that guarding Raptors superstar Kawhi Leonard is affecting his offensive production.
Simmons reportedly said that most of the time, he is too focused on slowing down Leonard, who has been the biggest problem for the Sixers in the series.
In turn, he is not getting into his usual offensive rhythm unlike during their series against the Brooklyn Nets in the opening round.

Simmons averaged 17.2 points on 62.8 percent shooting from the field during the Sixers' series with the Nets, and once scored a playoff career-high 31 points. But in their first five games against the Raptors, he only posted 9.4 points, converting just 4.6 of his 8.4 shot attempts per game.
His defense on Leonard is not being significantly felt based on how the superstar forward is producing in the series. The 27-year-old superstar is averaging 34.6 points on 58.3 percent shooting from the field.
The former San Diego State standout torched the 76ers with 45 and 39 points in Game 1 and Game 4, respectively.
