Philadelphia 76ers point-forward Ben Simmons is excited for the 2019-20 season, noting that the Sixers are ‘locked in' and ‘ready to play.'
Training camp for NBA teams officially opens next week. But like most teams, especially those who have a legitimate shot at the title, Philly is putting in the work earlier than the scheduled date.
Simmons revealed that the Sixers are already in the gym, and every single one of them is looking to elevate their games.

We're competing trying to get each other better from the rooks to the guys who are vets. I think it's going to be an exciting year for the 76ers.”
For the past two seasons, the Sixers have risen as one of the best teams in the league. For two consecutive seasons, they made it all the way to the Conference Semifinals. In the 2019 playoffs, they were ousted in seven games by the eventual champions, the Toronto Raptors.
Simmons has been criticized for his lack of a jump shot, which some believe is holding back the Sixers. However, if the offseason is any indication, it's clear the Australian playmaker has made some strides in that department.
The Sixers are expected to be one of the top title contenders in the Eastern Conference, and there's no doubt it could be an exciting year for them.
