As the Philadelphia 76ers-Toronto Raptors series shifted to Canada, Drake made sure to let Joel Embiid and the Sixers know they are not welcome in their city. Unfortunately for the rapper, his trash talk backfired,

As Tobias Harris revealed in his postgame presser after the Sixers' 114-111 OT win to take a 3-0 series lead, Drake told Embiid “he can’t play here.” The Canadian artist was probably invoking their 2019 match when the Raptors broke the hearts of Philly fans with Kawhi Leonard's game-winner.

Of course Harris knows Embiid better.

“I was like, he can play here, for sure,” Harris fired back, per team reporter Lauren Rosen.

Sure enough, Joel Embiid proved he can play in Toronto. He has moved on from that previous heartbreak, and by the looks of it, he is more than ready to get back at the Raptors this time around.

Embiid drained the game-winner to lift the Sixers past the Raptors. The Cameroonian big man finished with 33 points and 13 rebounds, with Toronto struggling to find a way to contain him.

After the Sixers' victory, Embiid also had a chance to meet Drake and return the trash talk to him, saying that he's looking to sweep them out right in front of the home fans.

As Tobias Harris said, Embiid can play in Toronto. As for Drake, he might have regrets poking the bear like that.
