The Philadelphia 76ers will get their starting shooting guard J.J. Redick back in the lineup after missing the last seven games with a left knee injury, according to Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Point guard Jerryd Bayless will also return to action after nursing a left wrist issue for the last six games.
The Sixers have needed shooting direly through the last few games and it wasn't any more evident than during a 107-95 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, as they went a collective 2-of-26 from beyond the atc — the worst shooting percentage from distance in franchise history since the team went 1-of-20 against the Chicago Bulls in March of 2014.

The collective force of Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Robert Covington struggled without a knock-down shooter on the lineup — one that Redick has proven to be over the years.
Not only is Redick averaging a career-high in scoring at 17.3 per game, but also shooting the 3-ball at a high clip, knocking down 40.5 percent of a career-high 6.7 attempts per game.
The Sixers have lost their last two games after winning five of their last six, now hanging to the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference thanks to the Detroit Pistons dropping eight games in a row through the past two weeks.
Redick and Bayless will play integral roles in getting this team back on the rise, as part of a tight four-horse race in the bottom four of the playoff picture.
