Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard JJ Redick says the Sixers have to take care of the basketball and value each possession if they want to defeat the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs.
The Raptors, led by superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard, are one of the best defensive teams in the league. Toronto went 3-1 against the Sixers in the regular season, forcing 23, 21 and 18 turnovers in the three games they won against Philly.

They are long and athletic and they play at times a swarming style defense, and you saw that at times during the Orlando series. We have to be good and we have to take care of the basketball.”
Sixers All-Star point forward Ben Simmons had a total of 25 turnovers against the Raptors in the regular season. That can't happen in the playoffs where every possession counts.
In the first round series versus the Brooklyn Nets, Simmons had a total of 15 turnovers in five games. Simmons and the rest of his Sixers teammate have to dribble the ball with a purpose and be strong with it, especially with Leonard around.
