Philadelphia 76ers superstar Joel Embiid almost lost his cool in the second quarter of their match against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night at the Vivint Smart Home Arena in Salt Lake City.

Embiid almost threw the ball straight to Jazz forward Joe Ingles out of frustration. The 76ers center grabbed a rebound, then Ingles tried to swipe the ball but hit Embiid's face instead.

Based on video replay, it appears Embiid was ready to throw the ball straight to Ingles. Good thing the 24-year-old center managed to keep his cool and decided not to throw it.

Had he thrown the ball to Ingles, the former Kansas standout might have been ejected from the game. NBA legend Reggie Miller, who was calling the game, was heard saying in the video replay that Joel Embiid really had the intention to throw the ball at Ingles.
