The relationship between Philadelphia 76ers stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons has been one of the most dissected aspects of the Sixers' drama with Simmons. Simmons has reportedly been unhappy with Embiid, and others, in the Sixers' organization for quite some time. Of course, with the 2022 NBA trade deadline fast approaching, players on Philadelphia's roster have grown accustomed to being questioned about Simmons and possible trades. Embiid balked when asked about a Simmons trade but offered a very interesting response when questioned about Simmons himself. The Sixers big man called Simmons out.
Joel Embiid on the Ben Simmons situation: "Everybody's at fault. But at the end of the day, you've gotta look at yourself. Just like when we lost, I looked at myself. I knew I wasn't good enough. I knew I wasn't healthy enough and I knew I wasn't good enough."
