A Philadelphia native living in Florida named Eugene Bozzi went viral after a video of him catching an alligator with a garbage can in his yard hit the internet. Bozzi then did an interview with CBS Philly and absolutely roasted disgruntled Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons.
“I’m not going to be Ben Simmons,” Bozzi said when Burrell asked him what he was thinking as he tried to get the gator. “I’m gonna get me this basket.”

Article Continues BelowMr. Bozzi certainly showed no fear going after the gator with that garbage can, which is more than what could be said about Ben Simmons in the fourth quarter of playoff games against the Atlanta Hawks. Simmons' unwillingness to shoot in crunch time, especially on that infamous Game 7 play, was a big factor in the Sixers' upset loss and helped spark a lot of this drama.
Simmons is currently holding out of training camp and has no intention of ever playing for Philly again. Naturally, Sixers fans are mostly done with him and are looking forward to a fresh start without him. Sixers star Joel Embiid also recently expressed his frustration with the situation.
However, Daryl Morey doesn't want to get bullied into making a bad trade, so Simmons is currently in limbo as the Sixers try to find a suitable deal. The three-time All-Star seems to be digging in and understands the financial ramifications of his holdout, so this mess doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
Buckle up!
