This is a tough look for the Phoenix Suns. The Toronto Raptors came into their building and handed the Suns a decisive loss. Adding insult to injury, the crowd began chanting for the Raptors. Yes, the chants are faint and likely not a huge contingent of fans, but there is no resistance from the home crowd. Usually, you hear the home crowd chant or boo to drown out the enemy fans, but not a peep from the Phoenix crowd.
You can't blame the Phoenix crowd for being dejected. The team is well on its way to another losing season and there doesn't appear to be much relief on the horizon. After firing their general manager Ryan McDonough was fired weeks before the season, the Suns have gotten off to a bad start.

The Suns hold a share of the worst record in the NBA at 1-7. If not for the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Suns would be the laughing stock of the league. Fortunately for Phoenix, Cleveland is dealing with fired head coaches, an interim head coach re-negotiating his contract, and public trade requests from players.
The debacle in Cleveland can give Phoenix some cover while they try to figure out exactly what's going on. They believe they have two legitimate talents in Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton, but they'll need more than that to change their luck. A capable point guard should be at the top of their list, but that only begins to address the myriad of issues in Phoenix.
Again, Raptors fans were apparently in Phoenix.
