There are no two ways about it. Phoenix Suns star Chris Paul just didn't look like himself during Wednesday's Game 4 loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. This has unsurprisingly brought about some doubt as to the 36-year-old's health and whether or not he's playing through an injury.
Paul himself has addressed the injury narrative, and as it turns out, he needed just two words to quell the rumors:

The particular issue raised pertained to the wraps that were seen around Paul's hands during Friday's practice. He had athletic tape plastered all over his right index finger and his left wrist, which prompted reporters to ask if his ligament problem in his hand was bothering him. Based on his response, the Suns point god had no intention of using these injuries as an excuse for his lackluster performance in Game 4.
Paul managed just 10 points in Wednesday's defeat against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. The Suns veteran went 5-of-13 from the floor (0-and-2 from distance) and uncharacteristically committed five turnovers. Moreover, Paul did not take a single free-throw attempt throughout 37 minutes of action.
In his mind, however, CP3 is just chalking this off as a bad game. Nevertheless, it's hard not to think that injuries may have played their part in his poor performance in Game 4. Whatever the case may be, all eyes will be on the Suns star as he looks to bounce back in a pivotal Game 5 matchup on Saturday.
