Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker will return to action Friday night against the Toronto Raptors.
The Phoenix Suns' official Twitter announced their leading scorer's return via an all-caps message and an image of Booker over his accomplishments:

Devin Booker has not played since injuring his hamstring last week against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Suns coach Igor Kokoskov previously preached patience with the injury, telling Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic:

Nobody is pushing him to do more than what he feels. He’s doing a lot of things in the non-contact, but it can jump from one day it could change from non-contact to he feels OK and he can go now. It’s day-by-day.”
Clearly, the Suns are confident Booker is ready to go and is not at risk of worsening the injury.
Booker's return comes not a moment too soon for the struggling Suns. They will be facing off against one of the hottest teams in the league in the Raptors, who have only lost one game all season so far.
While Booker's stats have been excellent (27.9 points per game on 50 percent shooting from the field), the Suns are still putting things together as a team and are only 1-6. The team is counting on Booker's health to ensure a successful season of growth and maturation.
