The Phoenix Suns won their third straight game on Monday night after defeating the New York Knicks by a score of 128-110.

While it was surprising enough that the Suns actually won three straight, another surprising fact arose after the victory; this was the largest margin of victory that the Suns had won by in Madison Square Garden throughout the franchise's history.

Reddit userJaguarGator9 cited numbers that showed the Suns' previous biggest victory was all the way back in 1976 when the Suns won by a final score of 113-97. That was the very same Phoenix team that made it all the way to the Finals, only to fall to the Boston Celtics.

While this year's Suns are almost certainly not making the playoffs, much less the Finals, the team did put together an impressive win.

Shooting guard Devin Booker played excellently on one of basketball's biggest stages, scoring 38 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. He wasn't alone in his dismantling of the Knicks. Rookie center Deandre Ayton also had quite a game, recording a double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds.

The Knicks played without one of their best scorers in Tim Hardaway Jr. and couldn't keep pace with Booker and the Suns. They were led by 32 points from Emmanuel Mudiay, who, along with Mario Hezonja (14 points), were the only bright spots for New York.

Phoenix seems to finally be putting things together after struggling to start the season. While its doubtful this streak will last for much longer, it's exciting to see how much damage the young lineup can do when they really start clicking.
