Another series, another exit for Damian Lillard. Despite the volcanic performances of the Portland Trail Blazers star, they fell short against the Denver Nuggets, dropping the matchup, 3-1.

Some believe Lillard won't win anything with the Trail Blazers. Some believe he's wasted his prime years with the gritty yet underachieving squad. Apparently, former NBA champion Nick Young is one of those guys. And his suggestion for Lillard? Join LeBron James and Anthony Davis on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Young is wildin' out yet again.

But hey, if his crazy proposition—by some form of divine intervention or alien invasion—does happen, a troika of Lillard, LeBron, and AD would be hell for the entire NBA. Just imagining them playing together with the Purple and Gold could make Jack Nicholson giddy like a 12-year-old. Or make Snoop Dogg roll something up.

Lillard, however, has made it clear several times that he doesn't subscribe to forming a Super Team. The gutsy guard, the Patron Saint of Clutch Shots, said he wants to stick it with the Trail Blazers and finish what he started. The man wants to win on his own terms, even though he continues to get disappointed.

The 30-year-old Lillard has now lost five times in the first round in his eight appearances in the NBA Playoffs. He reached the Western Conference Finals only once, losing to the Golden State Warriors in 2019.

Joining the Lakers would surely increase Lillard's chances of winning a title. Even a random drunk uncle joining LeBron James and Anthony Davis could win a ring. But Damian Lillard isn't about taking shortcuts.

Sorry, Nick Young.
