The San Antonio Spurs have been one one the most successful and consistent teams in the NBA. Since the franchise's move to the city in 1973, they have only missed out on the playoffs four times, and including this season, will make 20 straight postseason appearances. On Saturday, they have also achieved another feat for the third consecutive year.

By winning against the New York Knicks, the Spurs have now beaten each team in the league, and the only ones who have done it over that span.

The win was also their 56th of the season, and with only 12 games left on their schedule, they have once again secured a top-four seed in the Western Conference, which will strengthen their chances of winning the title this year.

With a veteran core of Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge, Tony Parker, Pau Gasol, and Manu Ginobili, plus their teammates who all understand their roles, the Spurs are easily among the heavy favorites to win the championship.
