The San Antonio Spurs did not exactly add a superstar to their roster during Thursday's trade deadline, but it can be said that this team has emerged as one of the biggest winners of the day. The Spurs pulled the trigger on a flurry of moves which sent even All-Star point guard Dejounte Murray into a state of shock.
Murray took to Twitter to share his one-emoji reaction to the Spurs' deadline-day moves:

Murray had to bust out his inner Kevin Hart to express his level of shock. The 25-year-old did not add any caption to his post so there's no way to tell whether or not he's pleased with the trades the Spurs decided to follow through on. After all, Murray will need to say goodbye to a few of his teammates and this is never an easy thing to do.

One of them is Derrick White, who has now been traded to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Josh Richardson, Romeo Langford, and a 2022 first-round pick. This move frees up the backcourt for Murray, while also adding a couple of key assets in the process.
San Antonio has also decided to part ways with Thaddeus Young and Drew Eubanks. Both players have been traded to the Toronto Raptors along with a 2022 second-round pick. In exchange, the Spurs get Goran Dragic and another 2022 first-rounder. The addition of another point guard in Dragic could be a bit contrary to the idea behind the White deal, but knowing coach Gregg Popovich, we're pretty sure he'll figure something out here.
