Earlier this year, the Jordan Brand dropped a unique commercial that centered around the argument of whether Kawhi Leonard could score on himself playing defense.

This was once again brought up during Leonard's current trip to China, which he was asked the same question to which he gave an interesting answer.

Although Leonard did not answer the question directly, he did at least shed light another commercial coming forth in the near future that addresses that situation. This is something that the Jordan Brand is likely going to drag out to draw more attention to the storyline.

That said, it does pose a unique question as Leonard has developed into arguably the best defender in the NBA that has two Defensive Player of the Year awards, three NBA All-Defensive First Team nods, and an NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection.

Meanwhile, he has developed into quite a capable and efficient scorer finishing eighth in the league in scoring at 25.5 points per game this past season that helped him receiving one of the top-three spots in the MVP voting for the second straight year. The argument could be made on both sides of the fence with for Leonard, which only speaks to the extremely talented player that he has become in first six years in the league.
