The San Antonio Spurs have waived guard London Perrantes and center Amida Brimah, ESPN’s Michael C. Wright reports.
The Spurs signed both undrafted rookie free agents to training camp deals this offseason and were highly unlikely to make the final roster.
Perrantes, who had an excellent four-year college career and has the distinction of being the winningest player in the history of Virginia basketball, averaged 1.0 point in 4.8 minutes in three preseason appearances for the Spurs.
Meanwhile, Brimah is a 7-foot shot-blocking specialist who won a national championship with Connecticut in 2014. He averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 5.7 minutes over three games in preseason.

After the release of London Perrantes and Amid Brimah, the Spurs’ roster is now down to 17 players. That includes 14 players with fully-guaranteed contracts, and two players on two-way contracts in Matt Costello and Darrun Hilliard, so they don't necessarily need to cut anyone else before the start of the season.
Guard Bryn Forbes’ contract this season remains non-guaranteed, but he is likely to be the 15th man on the roster. His contract for this year will become guaranteed if he stays on with the team by Jan. 10.
