Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard J.J. Redick has agreed to return to the team under a one-year deal, ranging from $12 to $13 million, according to ESPN'S Adrian Wojnarowski.

Redick posted his best season as a pro during his lone year at the City of Brotherly Love, giving point-forward Ben Simmons a reliable sharpshooter around the perimeter.

Redick posted 17.1 points, 3.0 assists, and 2.5 rebounds during the 2017-18 season, while shooting a formidable 46 percent from the field and 42 percent from deep.

His marksman-like shooting and veteran leadership will play a large role on the growth of this young Sixers team, now striving to get past the second round of the postseason after losing to the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference semifinals.
