When it comes to finally beginning to reach their potential as a team, the Oklahoma City Thunder seem to be on the same page as of late. It may be time to take the Thunder seriously, at least star forward Paul George seems to think so.

According to an article published today by staff writer Royce Young of ESPN, George and his Thunder teammates have really begun to figure things out recently and close out games in the fourth quarter.

“There's no confusion,” George said. “We're just playing. We trust one another. We're on the same page with one another. We just figured it out, how to close, how to play well, how to tighten up. We're just comfortable, I think. That's what took a little time, is the comfort level.”

The Thunder (19-15) are currently on a five-game winning streak after they knocked off the Houston Rockets (25-7) on Christmas Day with an impressive 112-107 victory at Chesapeake Energy Arena. George, who is averaging 20.1 points per game this season, put up 24 points on 8-of-15 shots from the field on against the Rockets.

Currently the No. 5 seed in the Western Conference playoff picture, Oklahoma City knows the kind of potential they have as a team and will look to keep things rolling Wednesday night. They will host the Toronto Raptors (23-9), who just had their six-game winning streak snapped tonight by the Dallas Mavericks.
