Despite going their separate ways several years ago, no love is lost between the Oklahoma City Thunder's Steven Adams and the Toronto Raptors' Serge Ibaka.

In the third quarter of the scrimmage between the Raptors and the Thunder, 6-foot-10 Ibaka drove to the lane. His former teammate, when he was still with the Thunder, in Adams went up for the challenge. Instead, not only did Adams foul Ibaka, the former was on the receiving end of a knee below the belt.

As seen in the video, Ibaka apologized not long after the unfortunate incident. Adams jokingly denied his apology but casually let out a grin. Several fans noticed the moment between the two and couldn't help but let out a snicker.

In an interview with Adams, Thunder beat writer Fred Katz sought for comment regarding the incident. Adams acknowledged the physicality of the sport:

The Thunder eventually won the game, 125-132, stretching their winning streak to six and bringing their record to 43-29 for fourth place in the Western Conference. The Raptors, meanwhile, ended their 11-game winning streak. It doesn't affect the team much, though, as while they hold a 52-18 record, the Raptors remain as kings of the Eastern Conference.

Despite enduring a knee, Adams had the last laugh at the end of the game. In the win, he contributed 25 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Ibaka, meanwhile, struggled with only seven points, six rebounds, and two assists.
