On the worst day of the year to trust anyone, a Toronto Raptors rookie and a couple of other teammates literally received reminders of that harsh reality.

Thanks to veterans DeMar DeRozan and Patrick Patterson, greenhorn Fred VanVleet along with teammates Delon Wright and Norman Powell now have an April Fools’ Day to remember for the rest of their career.
