The defending champion Toronto Raptors are down 2-0 to the Boston Celtics in the second round of the playoffs. While All-Stars Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam won't panic, they are certainly concerned about the team's putrid start in this Celtics series.
Pascal on Raps 4th Quarter: "We took some good shots but then we missed a lot of shots and they made a lot of shots down the end there. I dunno."
Now, he's not wrong, but he clearly isn't worried about the 1,000 words of gripping analysis I need to come up with …

Kyle Lowry: "We're pretty pissed right now, we're down 0-2… This is not a situation we'd like to be in… But all we've gotta do is get 1 game and take it 1 game at a time."

Both Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam have to play much better moving forward if the Raptors want to come back and make this a series against the Celtics.
Siakam shot just 6-of-16 in Game 2 after going 5-of-16 in Game 1. Lowry, meanwhile, went 5-of-12 in Game 1 and 5-of-16 in Game 2.
The Raptors were down 2-0 to the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals. While they came back to win the series in six games, superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard was leading that club.
Siakam is talented, but he's not ready to be a No. 1 option, especially in the playoffs since the game slows down and half-court scoring is at a premium.
Celtics forward Jaylen Brown is doing a really good job on Siakam, who is telegraphing his moves too much against Boston. The swingman is doing his classic spin move seemingly every play on offense.

That has to change if the Raptors want to save their season.
