The Golden State Warriors notched another convincing victory on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Following the 116-99 win over the Wolves, head coach Steve Kerr had nothing but good things to say about his defensive stalwart, Draymond Green.

Green has somewhat been overshadowed by the unbelievable offensive performances of his teammates. With Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, and Klay Thompson all on his side, it would be very easy to overlook the contributions Green is able to provide for the Dubs.

This was certainly not the case in Kerr's post-game press conference, as the head coach made it a point to emphasize how important Green is to the team.

As a matter of fact, Kerr has been so impressed by Green so far this season that he even went as far as saying that the three-time All-Star is currently playing the best basketball he has ever played throughout his career.

In ten appearances for the Warriors this season, Green is averaging 8.4 points, 0.6 3-pointers, 7.5 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.9 blocks in 31.6 minutes per contest.

While the sample size still remains to be be extremely small, Green's 8.5 assists per game is a career-best. It was compounded by an 11-assist performance on Friday, which just goes to show how Green is not only getting it done defensively, but has also been a central playmaker on offense for the Warriors.
