The Golden State Warriors suffered a shocking loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday night, which is their second defeat to the Texas team this season. As such, Steve Kerr has been trying to look for positive takeaways from the Warriors' recent games.

In fact, Kerr has stated that he wants the Warriors to push the “reset button” in their next game against the Knicks, according to Melissa Rohlin of Mercury News.

“There are key points in the year where we have to hit the reset button in terms of our priorities,” Kerr said. “Right now is one of those times. This is an important week for us from the standpoint of we need to take care of the ball.”

One consistent problem for the Warriors has been their penchant for accumulating turnovers. Kerr wants his team to review their miscues in recent games to learn from their mistakes.

“Out of 19 (turnovers) against Houston, I can count on one hand the number that weren’t self-induced,” Kerr said. “And that’s not to discredit them. They did a good job defensively. But if we want to just throw 60-foot lob passes in transition, and throw the ball out of bounds, and throw the ball to them, it’s going to be a lot harder for them to win. These are always the dog days. Once the holidays are over and pre All-Star, you get that month or five-week stretch where it’s a little bit of a grind. But it’s the same thing for everybody.”

The Warriors will take on the Knicks on Tuesday night. Apparently, Kerr doesn't want the Warriors to dwell on the past, but he does want them to commit to learning from their mistakes in order to become a better team in the future.
