Despite only playing his first season in the NBA, Golden State Warriors rookie Jordan Bell has already made a name for himself for his high-flying ways and sheer athleticism. It was once again on full display on Monday during their game versus the Portland Trail Blazers, especially on a fastbreak sequence in the third quarter.
Damian Lillard was streaking for an uncontested dunk, when the 22-year-old Oregon product came from behind to complete a chasedown block, to the delight of the Oakland faithful, who were all ecstatic after seeing the play.

The Warriors won their seventh consecutive game, 111-104, and improved their record to 23-6 for the season. Bell had extended playing time on the night, as Draymond Green and Stephen Curry are both out because of injuries, which gave him another chance to showcase his full arsenal. He responded well and finished with 11 points, six rebounds, two assists and one block.
In the 21 games he’s seen action, Bell has been a bright spot for the Dubs off the bench, as he has averaged 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 1.0 blocks in only 10.6 minutes. However, he could be in line for better production in their coming games, especially if he receives more playing time.
