Throughout his NBA career, Kevin Durant has proven that he is one of the most difficult players to defend, as he has the rare combination of size, the ability to score in different ways, and good handles as well. He has continued to showcase his prowess on breaking down his defenders with his variety of moves to free himself up for jumpers, which he once again showed on Monday against the New York Knicks.
After finding himself on a single coverage from Enes Kanter, the Golden State Warriors star forward pulled off a wicked crossover that placed the Turkish international on skates. It led to him scoring on an easy basket, to the delight of his teammates on the bench, and left the fans inside Madison Square Garden in awe of his impressive move.

Having played together with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2014 to 2016, Kanter was expected to be more familiar with Durant's game, and could be the reason why he wasn't double-teamed on the play. However, the reigning Finals MVP once again proved why he is widely considered as one of the best players in the league today, and that he can toy with the defense given to him regardless of who is fronting him.
The Dubs are looking to win their third straight game and keep in step with the Houston Rockets for the top spot in the Western Conference. They are only half-a-game behind them at this point of the season and a win on the night will put more pressure on the Texas team to continue stringing more wins together. The Knicks, on the other hand, have lost nine of their last 10 outings, but if they can pull off the upset against the defending champions, it will definitely help them finish the season on a high note and have a more respectable win-loss slate.
