Due to troubles in the locker room, recent speculations have surfaced that the Washington Wizards will trade Spencer Dinwiddie. Many players have expressed dissatisfaction with some of Spencer Dinwiddie's actions, according to multiple sources, and it appears that he will be traded before the deadline this year.
Unfortunately for the Wizards, he hasn't played the sort of basketball they expected from him this season, but that may be because he isn't enjoying his time in Washington.
Let's look at four deals that the Wizards may consider for Spencer Dinwiddie in order to either help restructure their organization if they want to maintain some of their key players or start a rebuilding process.
While all of these deals may be difficult, some contending teams will overspend and will have to give back a large package because of the players' salaries. Not all of these moves are likely, but competing clubs will try everything possible to improve, which might lead to some unusual deals, as we have seen in the past.

Spencer Dinwiddie Trades
Wizards get: Kemba Walker, Alec Burks
Knicks get: Spencer Dinwiddie
This may not thrill Wizards fans, but the Knicks might possibly throw in a draft pick to this deal, changing the Wizards' outlook on the deal. Spencer Dinwiddie is the type of player the Knicks will be hoping to come in and offer immediate offense.
Although receiving an older Kemba Walker and a spotty three-point shooter back for Dinwiddie isn't the ideal trade the Wizards could make, it's one they could have to consider if no other team is ready to take on his contract.
Wizards get: Talen Horton-Tucker, Kendrick Nunn, DeAndre Jordan, future first-round pick
Lakers get: Spencer Dinwiddie
If the Wizards are going through a rebuilding phase, this may be the best move they can make. Talen Horton-Tucker and Kendrick Nunn are two players that have the potential to be above-average in this league one day. Given their youth and the promise they have shown during parts of their careers, they might both be very strong players one day. They would also receive DeAndre Jordan, who may serve as a backup center if the Wizards decide to move any of their existing centers.
Article Continues BelowThe Lakers certainly need someone to run an offense for their second unit, and Spencer Dinwiddie could not only do that, but he also has the ability to start for them. If the Lakers did propose this deal, they would almost certainly have to include a draft pick or two, depending on if the Wizards value Talen Horton-Tucker similarly to the Lakers.
Wizards get: Nicolas Batum, Marcus Morris
Clippers get: Spencer Dinwiddie
Spencer Dinwiddie isn't necessarily much better than either of these guys, which makes this a fascinating deal. He is better than both of them, but there isn't much of a difference in their abilities. For what they can contribute to the floor, Nicolas Batum and Marcus Morris are two of the best wing players in the NBA. Neither of them are superstars, but they will both be sought after at this year's trade deadline because they can step into a contending team and make an immediate impact.
If the Wizards can get this sort of deal back, it may be a terrific option because they would still have Bradley Beal and the rest of their core players, as well as any other players they trade for during the deadline. This might be a move the Wizards make if they want to retool their squad and build around Bradley Beal.
The Clippers will be seeking a guard, and with the possibility of trading Eric Bledsoe, they may opt to take a gamble and get Spencer Dinwiddie for more than his market worth.
Wizards get: Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes
Kings get: Spencer Dinwiddie, Davis Bertans, Aaron Holiday, 2025 first-round pick, another future pick
Given what they would get in return, this may be the best deal the Wizards could make. Buddy Hield is one of the top 3-point shooters in the NBA, and Harrison Barnes is a veteran who could come in and nearly score 20 points each night. They would also be able to dump Davis Bertans' contract. This is a trade that would only make sense for the Wizards if they believe that by bringing back the proper players around Bradley Beal, they can go out and win a championship in the next few seasons.
In this case, the Wizardz would certainly be forced to give up a draft pick, which they may or may not want to do depending on their plans for the future of the organization. Giving up a draft pick from the Wizards' perspective wouldn’t make much sense if they do not know the certainty of their organization's future.
