Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal had a heck of a game during his team's thrilling triple-overtime win over the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night, tying Michael Jordan with eight 40-point games as a Wizard, according to SportsCenter.

Before we even get into Beal, let's just sit back and realize that 40-year old MJ was regularly dropping 40 points a night for the Wizards.

My. Goodness.

Anyway, Bradley Beal not only poured in 40 points off 17-of-33 shooting, but he also posted 15 assists and 11 rebounds to notch his first career triple-double.

You might say that it took him three extra sessions to do it, but that is still an amazing stat-line.

Beal has been one of the only bright spots in what has been a disastrous season for the Wizards, as he is averaging 23.5 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.1 steals over 36.2 minutes per game while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor, 35 percent from three-point range, and 77.7 percent from the free-throw line.

After four solid seasons, Beal finally broke the 20-point barrier in his fifth year, averaging 23.1 points a night.
