Kristaps Porzingis has officially landed in Washington as he finalizes his move to his new squad. The 26-year-old is one of the newest recruits for the Wizards after what turned out to be a rather eventful trade deadline for them.
Porzingis wasted no time getting himself accustomed to his new team. The 7-foot-3 big man was in full Wizards gear as he drained his first-ever bucket for Washington. It wasn't just any simple shot, though, as KP had to channel his inner Stephen Curry to win a bet on his first day on the job (h/t Wizards on Twitter):

Porzingis was extremely confident in his range, and he proved here why this was the case. That's easy money for the Latvian national who noted that he was already up $200 on his first day. It's great to see KP with all smiles as he seems to be extremely excited to have found a new home in the capital.

Porzingis joined the Wizards on Thursday after Washington agreed to a deal with the Mavs, in which Dallas received Spencer Dinwiddie and Davis Bertans in exchange for Porzingis.
KP is still dealing with a knee issue and has already been ruled out for Saturday's bout against the Sacramento Kings. For now, Wizards fans will need to wait a little longer before their new star makes his debut.
