With the playoffs right around the corner, Russell Westbrook and the Washington Wizards have gotten hot at the right time. Currently, on a six-game win streak, the Wizards have forced their way into 10th place in the Eastern Conference, giving them a chance to partake in the play-in game for a spot in the playoffs.

One reason Washington is finding so much success is the brilliant play by Russell Westbrook. He's averaging a triple-double this year with 21.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 10.9 assists per game. Not only that, but he's leading the NBA in clutch-time-field-goal percentage, per Fred Katz.

Westbrook has to be one of the most entertaining players in the league right now. Not only does he stack the stat sheet for the Wizards night and night out, but he provides hilarious commentary on his own play. Additionally, he's known for setting the pace in terms of fashion in the league, as he's always wearing something that catches the public eye.

The Washington Wizards are well on their way to making the playoffs, as long as they can finish strong down the stretch. Between Westbrook and Bradley Beal, the Wizards have a shot to beat anybody. With just 14 games left in the regular season, Washington has a legitimate chance to make the playoffs this year.

We'll see if Westbrook comes in the clutch again as the Wizards face off against Westbrook's former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. A victory keeps them in 10th place in the East, where a loss could drop them to 11th.
