Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant wants what everybody would definitely love to see in the 2022 NBA 3-Point Contest, and that's to have three of the greatest shooters to ever play the game of basketball join the event.

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is still active, and he would have been an instant favorite in this contest if he was part of it. Indiana Pacers great Reggie Miller looks like he could sign a 10-day contract for any team that wants to improve its outside shooting. The same goes with former Milwaukee Bucks shooting guard Ray Allen, whose hands likely remain hot from all the threes he drained during his legendary NBA career.

As for Morant, he wasn't among the participants, but it would have been interesting to see how he'd fare against Fred VanVleet of the Toronto Raptors, Luke Kennard of the Los Angeles Clippers, Zach LaVine of the Chicago Bulls, CJ McCollum of the New Orleans Pelicans, Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks, and of course Morant's Grizzlies teammate, Desmond Bane. On the season, Morant is shooting just 33.0 percent from behind the arc, but he can get pretty streaky once he sees his shots start to fall.
