Jalen Green, a five-star prospect out of the 2020 college basketball recruiting class, is getting heavy late interest from the UCLA Bruins. Mick Cronin is attempting to get the youngster to come to campus for an official visit despite Green's current scheduled visits having been wrapped up after a visit with the Memphis Tigers.

This news was relayed to the masses on the mean streets of Twitter by Rivals and Stockrisers reporter Jake Weingarten, who also mentioned that Jalen Green plans to reveal his decision on Christmas.

Ho, ho, ho! Or something like that.

As for Jalen Green, he’s as talented as basically any 2020 recruiting prospect. Not only do all reputable recruiting service outlets have the young man pegged as a five-star caliber prospect, but most tend to agree he’s one of the three (or so) best players in the entire 2020 recruiting class.

The aforementioned Memphis Tigers are joined by the Kentucky Wildcats and Duke Blue Devils as programs heavily involved in his recruiting process.

With a new era of UCLA Bruins college basketball starting under Mick Cronin this season, it'll be interesting to see just how well he does on the recruiting trail now that he works for a blue-blood.
