During a match between the Miami Hurricanes and Appalachian State Mountaineers, there was real drama on the bleachers. A cat somehow got into the stadium and it was hanging from the stands, as fans were not able to help. However, as this video from Barstool Sports shows, there was a happy ending to the story at the end – the cat was saved!

As it is clear from the video, the cat was holding on for dear life for at least 20 seconds. With the attention of the whole stand, one Miami Hurricanes fan was truly doing his best to extended his arm towards it and to bring the cat up to safety. Clearly, the poor animal did not have the strength to hold on anymore and fell. Thankfully, a good catch from a fan in the bottom part of the stands meant that the cat did not have to use one of her nine lives in this situation. The person triumphantly raised the cat, as all witnesses to the situation cheered on.

In the game itself, the Miami Hurricanes squeezed out a 25-23 win and now hold a 1-1 record. Next week, where there will be no danger for cats hopefully, Miami will be facing Michigan State.
