Chip Kelly's UCLA Bruins have one game under their belt after they clobbered Hawaii in “Week 0.” Fast forward to Week 1 and a huge test awaits with the LSU Tigers coming to town.

It will be on of the most watched matchups of the weekend, and via SI.com, Kelly is treating this game like the Super Bowl.

“Every game is the biggest game. Have you ever seen a coach that says we're not going all out in the game? We're going all out,” Kelly said. “This is our Super Bowl and it's their Super Bowl because it's the next game on the list. I don't know any coach that will say that this game isn't that important.”

While it's a fair point from Kelly, there are certain games at least from a fans perspective that carry way more meaning. For UCLA, this is one of those games.

A win over LSU could help legitimize what Kelly is trying to build with the program. It's been a somewhat rough go of it for Kelly at UCLA. In his three seasons so far, they have yet to post a winning record. A season opening win in dominant fashion over Hawaii has to have the confidence meter somewhat high for the Bruins heading into this critical matchup.

Kelly knows No. 16 LSU will be prepared.

“I do know with Coach O at the top that that's going to be a hard nosed, physical defensive football team because everywhere he's been that's what it's been so that's what we expect,” Kelly said.
