The Missouri Tigers (16-9) and Oklahoma Sooners (15-10) face off Saturday night in what's set to be a very even matchup. Both of these teams were ranked in the Top 10 at one point this year and have been god-awful of late. It's really a pick-out-of-a-hat type of pick'em game. The question is, which team will show up? Regardless, it should be a fun and even battle between two talented teams looking to put it all together and make a run in The Big Dance. Let’s continue our NCAA odds series and make a Missouri-Oklahoma prediction and pick.

Here is how the sportsbooks have set the odds:

NCAA Odds: Missouri-Oklahoma Odds

Missouri Tigers +1 (-116)

Oklahoma Sooners -1 (-104)

Over 140 Points (-110)

Under 140 Points (-110)

Why Missouri Could Cover The Spread

This team is reeling, losing six of their last nine and coming off of a tough defeat against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the SEC Tournament. Their season has truly been a tale of two stories. They opened the season in the Top 25 and were within the Top 10 in the nation at one point. Led by guards Dru Smith (14.1 PPG) and Xavier Pinson (14.1 PPG), this team has the star power to compete with anyone on any given night. Smith is the glue that keeps this group together, averaging 3.9 assists per game and 2.0 steals per game as well. He is my X-factor for the Tigers on Saturday night.

Missouri has some incredible wins on the resume this season, including a victory over a No. 1 seed in the Illinois Fighting Illini and a resounding win against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Tigers are 2-1 ATS in neutral site games this season. Adversity hasn't been an issue for this team. Although they are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against winning teams, they have beaten nine teams in the field of 64 in 2021. This proves they're capable and won't shy away from top teams. It's interesting to note that the Tigers are 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games against the Sooners.

Why Oklahoma Could Cover The Spread

The Oklahoma Sooners finished the year at 15-10 (12-12-1 ATS) and are coming off a loss to Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament. The Sooners received some awful news as they arrived in Indiana, though, as star De'Vion Harmon will not be available for at least the first two tournament games after testing positive for COVID-19. This is a huge blow as he ranks second on his team in minutes, points, and assists per game in 2021. It will be interesting to see how Oklahoma game plans around the absence of a key player.

The Sooners had a similar season to the Tigers, opening the year within the Top 25 and entering the Top 10 at one point this year as well. They opened the season going 5-1 SU, including wins against Alabama, Kansas, and Texas. They sport the 89th-ranked offense in the nation. Four players on the Sooners roster averaged double figures in 2021. Umoja Gibson shot 43% from beyond the arc, while team leader Austin Reaves (17.7 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 4.7 APG) was a star for Oklahoma all year. This team has the ability to shoot you out of the gym.

Final Missouri-Oklahoma Prediction & Pick

With a one-point spread separating these two teams, it's on you to trust your gut. Line movement suggests that the public is on Mizzou, and I happen to agree. The news of Oklahoma's second-best player this season is shocking and couldn't come at a worse time. Just stay in your house, man!

Mizzou has a more impressive resume this season. The defense is a bit better and will be the deciding factor in securing a Tigers victory.

FINAL PICK: Missouri +1 (-116)
