According to reports, Ben Simmons has been making progress in his rehab, and the general expectation is that he should be ready for the start of the 2022-23 season for the Brooklyn Nets. The former Rookie of the Year hasn't been very vocal about his road to recovery, but he recently made a major announcement on Instagram. Sad to say, though, it has nothing at all to do with basketball.
The Nets star just dropped a major hint about what appears to be an upcoming collaboration with world-renowned Italian car manufacturer Ferrari (h/t Legion Hoops on Twitter):

Simmons did not provide any details about the collab, but something appears to be cooking. After all, the Nets guard wouldn't tag Ferrari if this wasn't official.
This is some pretty big news considering how huge Ferrari is in the industry. Simmons himself is a known car enthusiast. So much so, that there were previous rumors that his affinity for sports cars and other luxuries nearly led to some concerning cash flow issues. The Nets star is likely going to get paid for his partnership with Ferrari here, so this is definitely a big win in Simmons' book.
Let's all just hope for a substantial basketball update soon.
