It didn't take long for James Harden to get acclimated with his new squad. The newly-acquired Brooklyn Nets superstar dropped a triple-double in his debut (32 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists) to help lead his team to a 122-115 victory over the Orlando Magic.

Despite his nine turnovers on the night, Harden still made a huge impact as he tried to develop chemistry with his new team on the fly. Asked about how he felt out there on his Nets debut, The Beard revealed how easy it was playing alongside “really really good players,” especially with someone like Kevin Durant.

Durant and Harden played their first game together since Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals and they didn't waste time wreaking havoc on the court as a dynamic scoring tandem. KD led the Nets with a game-high 42 points.

Meanwhile, with his triple-double, Harden became the first player in NBA history to notch a 30-point trip-dub in his debut game with his new team. In addition, Harden's 14 assists became the franchise record in a Nets debut.

The scary thing about this is Kyrie Irving isn't even on the floor yet. The six-time All-Star has been out of Brooklyn's lineup dealing with whatever he is going through right now.

The Nets still have no clue if and when Irving will come back to the team. Nevertheless, his return should only make Brooklyn a tougher force to be reckoned with.

Kevin Durant expressed his excitement on getting the full squad back and how their offense will look like with their three-headed monster leading the way. The Nets will now play the waiting game until Uncle Drew sets his personal matters straight. Until then, it will be the KD and Beard Show starring in Brooklyn.
