Nets star Kevin Durant fires back at ‘sh*tty’ hot takes he’s seen
The 2021-22 campaign hasn’t even started yet and already, Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant appears to be in mid-season form. We’re not really talking about his basketball here, although he has turned in a couple of eye-catching performances for the Nets in the preseason. At this point, it’s KD’s social media game that is already on point.
Durant took to Twitter on Friday to call out what we are presuming to be news outlets and basketball analysts out there. The Nets star isn’t too happy about what he’s been hearing and reading about of late and naturally, he just had to share his NSFW thoughts via a tweet:
Season bouta start, I see shitty hoop takes everywhere
— Kevin Durant (@KDTrey5) October 15, 2021
Durant did not specify which “sh*tty takes” he’s complaining about, and it would be impossible to make any assumptions at this point. After all, with the season tipping off in a few days, the NBA has been the talk of the town once again.
For what it’s worth, the Brooklyn Nets are considered by many as the heavy favorites to win the chip this season. KD definitely isn’t ranting about this prediction.
Then again, there have been some folks who have downplayed Brooklyn’s title hopes amid the whole Kyrie Irving vaccination drama. Many believe that Kyrie’s potential absence could have a significant impact on the Nets’ chances this season. Perhaps this is specifically the type of sh*t Kevin Durant isn’t down with.
