Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant embarrassed John Collins big time on Wednesday, a day that the Atlanta Hawks center will probably want to forget.

Midway through the second quarter, Durant drove and stopped on a dime in typical KD fashion, but Collins couldn't keep his footing as he stumbled to the floor. The Nets star then drained the midrange jumper and turned and jogged back to the other end, laughing after he dropped Collins.

Kevin Durant has always been one of the toughest players to guard, especially in isolation, so John Collins on KD is just a disaster waiting to happen. Collins had 12 points and five boards and Durant scored nine as the game was tied at 55 apiece heading to halftime.

The Nets' addition of James Harden instantly made them the favorites in the Eastern Conference, but the new Big 3 of Durant, Harden and Kyrie Irving have to find a way to gel and figure out how they can make it work if they want to come out of the conference and win the title at the season's end.

Prior to Wednesday's game, the Hawks sit at 9-8 for sixth place in the East standings. They were just a couple of games behind the fifth-seeded Nets.
